The club was established in the 1970's.

The club was incorporated as "Greenbank Soccer Club Inc." on 5th November 1990 under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981. Our Incorporated Number is IA08058.

In October 2008 at a Special General Meeting we voted to change our name to "Greenbank Football Club Inc." and the change became official on 8 December 2008.

In the 2008 Football season we had nine teams competing in the Junior (Small Sided Games) & Rooball divisions of Football Brisbane Inc.:-

  • Two U6 teams - the "Brumbies" and the "Redbacks"
  • Two U7 teams - the "Colts" and the "Emus"
  • Two U8 teams - the "Dragons" and the "Wombats"
  • One U9 team - the "Falcons"
  • Two U10 teams - the "Bandicoots" and the "Goannas"
plus three (3 -> 5 year olds) teams playing under Football Queensland's Squirts Program.

Official Colours

Our Official colours are Bottle Green, Gold & White.

Our Objectives

The objective of the Greenbank Football Club is to provide:-
  • The opportunity for children, youth, and individuals to participate in an organised competition of Football and to develop sportsmanship and knowledge of Football.
  • Football facilities in the Greenbank area so that individuals can train and play Football locally.
